If you have xp and are using sun java, uninstall that garbage and get the MS Java VM from the url below, you will need to register though.

it sounds like a java virus.
1) make siure that you have a good anti virus and spyware installed
2) run a scan and remove the virus/sypware
3) go to the java website and download the latest java
