need help figuring this puzzle out please it's to expensive to call geek squad for something i belive is a simple fix hopefully anyone that could help it would be greatly appreicated

I think its easier because this way afyter it burns you don't have to insert the disc any more.

Sounds like your settings need repairing. Also did you recently replace the disk drive remember the recent format war that was going on between blueray and HD-Disk format's? it could be that you bought a drive that doesn't support the disk you have. oh and by the way the HD-disk format lost the war blue-ray is now the king.

If your commercially pressed dvd's are in the HD format then you might have a disk drive that cannot read them in which case you need to get another drive. costing anywhere from $39.99 to $399.99 in U.S. Funds regardless of where and how you shop.
